Barrier-free access to a historic landmark was achieved with a precision-engineered corrugated steel enclosure protecting a passenger cable incline lift on a 46% slope. The nearly 40-meter structure had to fit precisely between two fixed stations with near-zero tolerance while maintaining consistent internal clearances. ViaCon designed a modular corrugated structural plate system (8 mm) oriented perpendicular to the slope and accurately connected to both terminals. Hot-dip galvanization to DIN EN ISO 1461:2009 ensures long-term durability. Close cooperation between the architect, contractor and ViaCon enabled precise surveying, phased installation and strict quality control. The enclosure was assembled on site in just eight weeks, delivering a robust, visually coherent solution that protects the lift, improves user safety and enables barrier-free access in a sensitive heritage setting. Steel Structural Tunnel Liner Plate was specified by Minnesota DOT to reline twin 10' X 10' reinforced concrete box culverts. The project was in St Peter, MN on TH 22. An arch shape on steel channels was used for relining instead of round pipe. The invert of the culvert could not be raised so a hot dip galvanized horseshoe shaped arched was used to maximum the flow and not raise the invert elevation of the culvert. The culvert invert could not be raised as it would affect the hydraulics of the culvert. The entire project was constructed without disrupting any traffic. A new concrete headwall was poured around the plate arch to finish construction of the culvert.

This 132" Corrugated Steel Pipe crane tower enclosure was used for the construction of a high rise building in downtown Minneapolis. CSP crane tower enclosers are a stay in place enclosure that allows for the crane to be placed at basement level. During the building construction process, fill is brought up around the pipe to final ground surface elevation. After the project, the crane can be disassembled from inside the pipe enclosure. After the crane is removed the CSP is filled with compacted soil. CSP played a vital role in the construction of the high rise building.
